Ubuntu Unity interface on Desktop edition

Unity is the default UI for Ubuntu Netbook Edition in 10.10. It’s a step forward in the Netbook Edition, making it easy and well-fitted for those screen sizes for your a desktop environment. The main focus of Netbook interface are maximization of screen resource, mainly the vertical pixel, and making it suitable for touch-screen devices.
Unity can be experienced from Ubuntu Desktop Edition by following way-
1. If you are on Lucid, load a terminal and run
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:canonical-dx-team/une
AND
sudo apt-get update.
2. Type following command into terminal
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-netbook
and Hit Enter.
3. Log out, choose Ubuntu Netbook Edition session on the sign-in screen and log in.
